Graduated from the Renmin University of China with a major in finance, Ph.D. in Economics. He is now President of the Nankai University of China. He is a secondary professor at the Institute of Finance and Monetary, a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Eisenhower Foundation, and a Fulbright Senior Visiting Fellow at Columbia University. He is the Vice President of the China Institute of International Finance and the Deputy Secretary-General and Executive Director of the China Finance Society. Yulu Chen is also an author of many bestselling books, including China's Financial History: Know about China's 3000 Years through Financial History (2013), China's Financial History: Money All Around the World (2014), Every True History is Financial History (2016) and many other works.
